Angela Steward
Angela started at Clare Bears in 2006 and became the Setting Leader/ Manager in 2009 and Co-owner of Clare Bears in January 2018. Since 2006 Angela has studied and completed NVQ Levels 2 and 3 in childcare, learning and development. In 2013 she completed a Level 5 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce. Angela loves the 'family feel' at Clare Bears and particularly enjoys sharing children's 'first' experiences.
Jennifer Doherty
Jennifer is the Deputy leader and Co-owner at Clare Bears Pre-school since 2018. She is a qualified teacher and uses her skills to ensure that all the children feel confident in their basic writing, number and phonic skills before making the leap to primary school. Jennifer is our setting SENDCO (special educational needs and disabilities co-ordinator) and provides extra support to any children that require it.
Amy Steward
Amy is our senior practitioner. She joined Clare Bears in 2019 and has since qualified as a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner. She particularly enjoys getting to know the children then exploring and planning next steps building on their own special interests.
Georgie Bulmer
Georgie joined Clare Bears in 2022 and completed her Level 3 Early Years Practitioner qualification in 2024. She enjoys supporting children to work towards and achieve their milestones and help them realise their potential.
Charley Goring
Charley joined Clare Bears in 2022 as an early years practitioner and has since qualified as a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner. She has a passion for young people’s development and particularly enjoys supporting children to develop confidence in themselves and explore new challenges.
Sarah Woodhouse
Sarah joined our team as a part-time voluntary staff member in September 2023, however, we are delighted that Sarah has decided to stay with us in a full-time role as an Apprentice Early Years Practitioner in 2024. Sarah will be studying for the Level 3 award. Sarah has proven to have a great repour with the children and enjoys planning new activities and supporting children's learning and development.
